Rotation Core Cards

Card
Expansion: Dawnbreak, Nightedge
Expansion: Omen of the Ten
Expansion: Omen of the Ten

Darkfeast Bat: Darkfeast Bat is your primary win condition with this deck. Throughout the game, you will be doing tons of damage to yourself and Darkfeast Bat is an incredibly powerful finisher! It will deal damage to your opponent equal to the number of times you deal damage to yourself. Now this isn't to be confused with the amount of damage you dealt to yourself. So if you play Narmaya, Ephemeral Blade and go all the way down to 10 from 20, it will still only count as 1 time you dealt damage to yourself. However, as the entire deck is built around the concept of doing damage to yourself several times, you can easily achieve high numbers as long as you're careful!

Bloodthirsty Hamster: A card that compliments the "Deal damage to yourself" strategy. The first time each turn you deal damage to yourself, this gets more powerful. As this entire deck is filled with cards to hurt yourself with, it is a worthy inclusion to the deck!

Servant of Lust: Another card that works really well with the self damaging strategy. But it comes with an added benefit! a 4/2 for 2PP is powerful but it can also help heal you at the same time. It is important to note that when it heals the opponent, it is after they have taken damage from the card. So if you put them to 0 while they are at 4 or less defense, they lose the game.

Rotation Deck Mulligans

  • Any 1 PP Follower
    • Goblin is better for the early game. But Disciple of lust helps activate your Darkfeast Bat game plan must faster.
  • Restless Parish
  • Any 2 PP Follower
  • Evil Eye Demon / Snarling Chains
    • Evil Eye Demon is good going second for the accelerate ability. Can be good going first as well.

Rotation General Gameplan and Tips/Tricks

  • Be very careful about how much damage you deal to yourself. As this is not a vengeance deck, there is no reward for being in vengeance. Use your demonic ram to help keep your life total up.
  • Vira, Knight Fanatic is a great card for this decks game plan. You can deal as much damage to yourself as you want during the turn she is evolved using your various self harm effects.
  • The idea situation would be to get your opponent to a low enough life total so you can finish them off with a single Darkfeast bat. However, often times, this isn't going to happen very often. This is why throughout the game, you want to be as aggressive as possible.
  • Evil Eye Demon is your mass board wipe against those board flooding decks. Make sure that when you are using your evo points, you are using them wisely.

Unlimited Archetype Overview

Do you like finishing your opponent off in really cool way? Do you like dealing damage to yourself and punishing your opponent at the same time?! If you do, Darkfeast Bat is for you! The entire game plan revolving around this card is simple but it is quite difficult to execute. You wanna deal as much damage to yourself as possible and them BOOM! Play a Darkfeast bat to finish off your opponent!

However, as the entire deck is built around the concept of doing damage to yourself several times, you can easily achieve high numbers as long as you're careful!

Bloodfed FlowerbedOne of the most important cards in the deck! Once this card comes down, it will deal 1 damage to both you and your opponent at the same time at the end of your turn. This can be very good for helping with softening your opponent up for the kill later in the game, or can be used in combination with Demonic Ram for healing!

Dire BondDire bond can help with drawing the cards you need to get to your darkfeast bat and advance your game plan because it does harm you itself and heals back the damage.

Apostle of Lust: If you don't have Dire bond, you can try running this card as a replacement. It still allows you to draw and advance your game plan. However, you do have to be careful because it does allow your opponent to draw a card as well. Not that it should matter too much with this deck as you are aiming to kill them in a single shot with Darkfeast Bat.

Bloodthirsty Hamster: This synergizes very well with cards such as bloodfed flowerbed and your other self damage cards. A very good replacement for demonic ram.

Valnareik, Omen of LustAnother card that synergizes very well with the theme of your deck. Once you have dealt 7 damage to yourself, this card gains +1/+1 and Storm. Not to mention the turn after you did damage to yourself she get's bigger again. Definitely worthy of consideration in this deck!

Unlimited Deck Mulligans

  • Restless Parish
  • Bloodfed Flowerbed
  • Any 1 PP Follower
    • Ambling Wraith is the ideal choice.
  • Any 2 PP Follower

Unlimited General Gameplan and Tips/Tricks

  • More so than with vengeance blood, you have to be very careful of your life total. Generally being at above 10 means that in some match ups you will be okay because that means you have more life to play with in terms of self damaging effects. However, when you are below 10, that is where you begin to suffer some problems due to many decks actually being able to kill you at the 10 marker.
  • As it is incredibly unlikely that you are going to Darkfeast bat your opponent for 20 damage, do make sure to do as much damage to them as possible beforehand.
  • This deck can draw through a substantial amount of cards due to its various card effects like Belphegor and / or Blood pact. You definitely want to get to Darkfeast bat as quickly as possible.
    • If you know that you might be playing in a slower match up, you can even consider keeping Darkfeast bat in your opening hand so you don't have to dig for it later. .
