Rotation Archetype Overview

Mysteria Runecraft utilizes the sub archetype of Mysteria to synergize with each other. It is very similar to the traditional Burn rune with the exception of using sigils to activate its burn effects. The deck centers around Mysteria, magic founder that helps increase the power of your direct damage spells!

Mysteria, Magic Founder: Once you play Mysteria, a world of things change! Each of your spells will do +1 Additional damage! On top of that, the effect can stack so your originally 2 damage spell could actually do 5 damage on its own! Do remember that this only applies to spells so you won't able to gain that effect with followers. 

Mysterian Knowledge: Mysterian Knowledge will randomly give you access to Mysterian Circle or Mysterian Missile. 

  • Mysterian Missile can help clear followers. It also has the added benefit of dealing damage to the leader so in combination with Mysteria, Magic Founder, it would be a match for pretty much anything. 
  • Mysterian Circle can help protect yourself. In the event that you have other conjure golems in play, it will allow you to give them ward as well to help protect you further. 

Ms. Miranda, Light Mage: On fanfare, she gives you either Mysterian Missile or Circle. But when she evolves, she gives you access to Mysterian Rite. A really powerful Mysteria card that gives you the ability to burn something and protect yourself! Her cost is reduced each time you play a Mysteria card so getting this out as quickly as you can is very good!

Anne, Mysterian Prodigy: Similar Ms. Miranda, Anne also reduces her cost for each Mysteria card you play. On top of that, She provides many different options when she is played!

  • Anne Summoning: a 5/5 Ward and Rush follower for 2 PP. Although it does go away at the end of your opponents turn, you can kill something AND protect yourself! Of the 2 choices, you will definitely be getting this card more than Sorcery. 
  • Anne Sorcery: Your finisher spell. You can hit your opponent for a massive amount of damage! On top of that, it also deals additional damage for each Mysteria Magic Founder. You will usually play this few turns earlier than turn 10 in order to set up for your lethal!

    • Good to keep if you have a lot of Mysteria cards in your hand. 

You can debate keeping Anne, Mysterian Prodigy in your hand. Since the majority of your deck is mysteria cards, reducing its cost as early as possible can be worth it. 

Rotation General Gameplan and Tips/Tricks

  • You want to begin reducing the cost of Ms. Miranda as early as possible. Getting her to become a 4 PP follower can be a very powerful play if you're going second. If you're going first, it can still be good to help maintain Tempo. 
  • It can be difficult to know when and when you shouldn't play Mysteria, Magical founder. She doesn't provide an immediate threat and is very poor against wide boards. When you are building your deck, take into consideration this weaknesses and plan accordingly. 
    • Staff of Whirlwinds and Nova Flare are both very good cards to help you. They are also incredibly powerful after you have played at least one Mysteria Magical Founder. 
  • Don't be afraid to use your Caglistro's to pin your opponent down. As she does have a very powerful late game effect, it is usually better to use her to control the mid game. 
  • Obtaining Lethal with this deck can be a bit tricky if you aren't familiar with it. Something you can do is you can look at your leader effect to keep track of how many Mysteria effects you have active. 

Unlimited Archetype Overview

Due to the expanded card pool in unlimited, Mysteria is a bit of a different deck overall. While it can still win through high amounts of tempo, in unlimited, you have an added bonus! Your main win condition is Wizardess of Oz and Anne's Sorcery. Since the majority of your deck is actually mysteria cards, it makes playing this combo very easy and possible to pull off as early as turn 6!

Wizardess of Oz: Oz in junction with Anne's Sorcery are going to be your main win condition. Oz allows you to reduce the cost of Anne's sorcery to 1 PP. If you were playing aggressively enough, you will be able to pull off this win condition as early as turn 6. 

Unlimited Deck Mulligans

  • Ms. Miranda Light Mage / Anne Mysterian Prodigy
    • It is important to start reducing the costs of these cards as quickly as possible. As long as you have other early game Mysteria cards in your hand, these become automatic keeps. 
  • Mysterian Knowledge
    • Although you can only have one of this card in your deck, it is still an important keep for this deck. 
  • Any 2 PP Follower 
    • Owen is your top priority 2 PP follower. 

Unlimited General Gameplan and Tips/Tricks

  • Depending on how you build this deck, you definitely want to play as aggressively as possible. Doing as much damage to your opponent as possible makes it easier to set up Anne's Sorcery. 
  • Mysterian Grimoire can help you dig into your deck. You do have to be careful about playing it though because it will get rid of all spells in your hand. 
    • Best trick to playing this card is to only play it when you have no spells. You might draw your Mysterian Knowledge but your goal isn't to keep that if you draw it. Your goal is to get your Anne, Mysterian Prodigy or Wizardess of Oz as quickly as possible. 
  • Ms. Miranda, Light Mage and Anne, Mysterian Prodigy can snowball very quickly if you manage to get them early enough. Since the majority of your cards in your hand are going to be Mysterian cards, it will be simple to reduce their costs. 
  • Since Ogler is the only card in your deck that has spellboost, you can pull it with Lou and then spellboost it with playing Craig, Wizard of Mysteria. 

Why not play Mysteria, Magical Founder

Mysteria magical founder is more for decks that rely on damage dealing spells to play throughout the game. Unfortunately since this deck is based around playing it's followers, this card doesn't really have a place in the build.
