Deck Overview:

Serpent Blood is a deck that is designed around the concept of constantly flooding out using your new cards such as Venomfang Medusa to summon snake tokens! The goal of the deck is to be very strong at controlling the board while being able to present constant threats your opponent must deal with!

Deck Staples:

Venomfang Medusa is A centerpiece of the deck! She herself produces pretty good stats and produces 2 serpents! Since this deck is based on flooding the board with followers, she helps with that game plan very well by producing 2-3 followers on her own!

CardCost
Medusiana Medusiana 8

A 1/7 rush and bane follower is pretty good! But the fact that it can attack 3 times in a turn is even better! As it can only be made through the effect of Venomfang Medusa, it may be a bit challenging to get into play. However, if you do manage to get this card into play, it is a very good board control option that is incredibly difficult for your opponent to clear!

Summon Bloodkin fits into the decks strategy perfectly! Although it doesnt produce serpents, it does produce 2 bats!

Bot only does this summon 2 tokens, but it also adds a Venomfang Medusa, Stheno, or Euryale to your hand at random so in a way you are getting 2 followers + a third for potentially the next turn!

Deck Progression:

Early Game

  • The deck plays very similarly to aggro blood does. You want to play on curve with cards such as Ambling Wraith and Blood Wolf
  • Since this is an aggressive deck, make sure that you are jamming face as much as possible!
  • Trading isn't exactly what you want to be doing. You want to flood the board with cards like Trial of the Gorgons and Summon Blood Kin to make it difficult for your opponent to effectively deal with your board.

Mid Game

  • Jam your Venomfang Medusa and begin applying heavy pressure on your opponent.
    • You can even pre-evolve medusa sometimes if you happen to have something like a Spiderweb Imp.
  • Use Dance of Death or Razory Claw to help push past wards or to burn away at your opponent.

Late game.

  • Carabosse or Jormungand are very good finishers for this deck depending on how the deck is built.
    • Carabosse is good at grinding your opponent down and keeping cards in your hand.
    • Jormungand works well with many of your cards to help finish your opponent off.

Minor Note

Your followers have very low attack stats. because of this, this deck is generally not going to be designed around the premise of aggressive strategies.
