Deck Overview:

White Wolf Forest is a different breed of Forest deck. It uses a card named White Wolf of Eldwood to draw a card from your deck that has a high cost. Not only that, but it also reduces the cost of that card to 0!

Deck Staples:

The center piece of the deck. For his cost, his stats are rather low. However, because of his ability, the deck is centered around him. The entire point of White Wolf is to die. Once he dies, he pulls a high-cost card from your deck and adds it to your hand. There are several cards this card can pull from the deck but one of the primary cards used with White Wolf is...

CardCost
Silver Bolt Unevolved Silver Bolt 9

This card is the main finisher for your deck. It does damage to a target equal to the number of cards in your hand. In combination with White Wolf, you can do a massive amount of damage to your opponent!

Will of the Forest is the way Forest is capable of clearing your opponents board. It does damage to each follower your opponent controls equal to the number of cards in your hand (are you starting to see a common theme?) This damage does not target so it is also capable of hitting ambush and untargetable followers as well!

CardCost
King Elephant King Elephant 10+

If you aren't running Silver Bolt, then you are running this! It will pump itself for each card that you bounce back to your hand AND it completely ignores the Ward enemies! This is incredibly good because it's a massive finisher that is very difficult to defend against!

Deck Progression:

Early Game

Removal

  • Elf Child May
  • Airbound Barrage
  • Sylvan Justice

Protection

  • Ancient Elf
  • Magical Fairy Lilac
    • Your opponent will not want to trade into this card. This card is very good at many different stages of the game.

Mid Game

Primary Evolution Targets

  • Elven Princess Mage
    • Helps with setting up a Roach kill combo or adding cards to your hand so you can have a massive turn with King Elephant down the road.
  • Fortunehunter Feena
    • Potentially gets you a Roach off of the Goblin Mage it produces.
  • Magical Fairy Lilac
    • With the number of bounce cards in this deck, you could evolve this, attack your opponents follower, kill it, and then put this card back into your hand to use again later. This is not a priority but can be helpful to help deal with big threats if needed.

Removal

  • Will of the Forest
  • Dance of Death (Should you choose to run it)

Late Game

Removal

  • Will of the Forest
  • Cassiopeia
  • Homecoming
    • Not a true board clear. But, can set your opponent back enough to give you a way to win the game, or fill your hand with cards to help set up for your king elephant turns.

Tempo Plays

  • Crystalia Aerin (Enhanced)
    • Allows you to regain an Evolution Point to help stall until you can get to your finishing combo.
  • White Wolf of Eldwood
    • It does come into play with Rush so it does give you a way to clear out the threats your opponent presents.

White Wolf Combos

Silver Bolt

  • Turn 8:
    • Play White Wolf of Eldwood
    • Attack opponents follower with White Wolf, killing both followers
  • Turn 9
    • Silver Bolt is added to your hand via White Wolf's effect.
      • Hopefully you will already have another Silver Bolt in your hand
    • Play the 0 costing Silver Bolt
      • It costs 0 because of White Wolf of Eldwood's effect
    • Play the Full costing Silver Bolt to do a maximum of 18 damage!
      • Silver Bolt deals damage equal to the number of cards in your hand to any target. So if you happened to have 9 cards in your hand when this card was played, it will deal 9 damage to your opponent for each one. 9+9 = 18!

King Elephant

  • Turn 8:(in this configuration, your primary target for White Wolf would be king elephant)
    • Play White Wolf of Eldwood
    • Attack opponents follower with White Wolf, killing both followers
    •
  • Turn 9
    • Flood the board with a bunch of cheap followers
    • Play King Elephant to bounce all of those followers back to your hand
    • Finish the game out using King Elephant and Rhinoceroach (King Elephant becomes 0 because of White Wolf of Eldwood)
