Deck Overview

Overview
This is a Control Haven deck centered around a new card released in Tempest of the Gods, Heavenly Aegis. The first question about this deck is perhaps why play it over traditional Seraph Haven. In fact, this deck originally started as a Seraph Haven deck with Aegis as a backup finisher. However, after some play it became clear that more often than not Aegis was the wincon. The reason I believe this deck is better is that Seraph Haven needs approximately 9 cards to combo with and needs at least 3 of these in hand with Seraph to win. Aegis, on the other hand, is largely a clean wincon in and of itself, without needing much support outside of cards that would be run anyways, like Themis Decree. Moreover, this gives Aegis Control much more flexibility in playing more cards to slow down aggro as well as remove more efficiently in the midgame, setting up the turn 9 Aegis.

Playstyle
At its core, the playstyle of the deck is largely centered around efficient removal that ideally retains at least one evolve point by turn 9 so Heavenly Aegis can be dropped and immediately clear a threat off the board. While this may seem difficult, in practice Haven has such efficient removal that this turns out to not be all that difficult. The rest of the cards are focused on slowing down aggro, healing to avoid otk's, and drawing more cards to maintain card advantage.
