Deck Author Interview:
Characteristics of the Deck

I considered match ups against current meta decks such as Aggro Swordcraft and Dragoncraft decks that utilize Prime Dragon Keeper. This deck is good at establishing board control and capable of executing lethal damage consistently. On top of Rhinoceroach, you have a win condition with Jungle Warden.

Key Cards
CardCost
Elf Child May Unevolved Elf Child May 1

I added this card to stop early aggression decks like Aggro Swordcraft. Airbound Barrage is also a low cost card that can give you a huge advantage.

In the early game, I utilized cards like Elf Child May or Wood of Brambles to clear the board. In the late game, they become combo pieces to help Rhino finish.

CardCost
Jungle Warden Jungle Warden 5

Jungle Warden has very good stats (5/4/5) late game, making it a strong finisher. With this follower, you can use Rhinoceroach even if you don't reach lethal, allowing you more flexibility in the late game.

CardCost
Cassiopeia Cassiopeia 6

I decided to add this card because unlike Will of the Forest, you can bounce this card and use it again. If it stays on field, it helps reach lethal with the Rhino combo.

How to Play

Against Aggro Decks:

Keep your defenses safe and clear followers on the enemy side of the field as much as possible. Late game, out power them with Crystalia Aerin or Cassiopeia. The longer the game goes, the higher your winning chances.

Against Control Decks:

Try to maintain some board control but prioritize the Rhino Combo to win the game. Until you are sure that you can win next turn, try not to play aggressively. If your opponent doesn't utilize Ward or Heals, you can attempt a push to win the game. Play with patience until you have all the pieces to win.

Mulligan

Against Swordcraft:

Focus on keeping/getting Elf Child May and Sylvan Justice, or low-cost cards that will help with board control.

Against Dragon/Haven:

Against decks that have a lot of removal like Dragon and Haven, search for Fortunehunter Feena or Goblin Mage for your Rhino Combo.

If going 1st:

If you get strong early combo cards such as Fairy Circle + Ancient Elf, always keep them no matter who your opponent is.

To Readers

I understand that there are a lot of new cards that can be added to the deck and it may be difficult to decide. I made the deck with the intention of reaching Grand Master and that hopefully explains a lot of my card choices.

Thank you for reading!
