09/10/18 ~ 09/16/18 Statistic
This week has been a calm one for the Ranked match environment, with all but one class seeing less than a 1% move in its usage. Portalcraft, Runecraft, and Forestcraft has maintained their position since last week, although some of these classes have seen a slight decrease in usage. With the Brigade of the Sky format ending very soon, there is little expectation for any deviations from this trend onward.
It was business as usual for Forestcraft and Portalcraft, once again topping the win percentage leaderboard. A noteworthy statistic this week was the increase in win percentage for Shadowcraft, with 49.7% being its highest number this season.
Usage and Win Rates by Archetypes
|Archetypes||# Used||# of Wins||Win %|
|G. Chimera Runecraft||1861||924||49.7%|
|Abyss Summoner Runecraft||383||168||43.9%|
Firstly, the sample size from this week’s data suggests that there is less people playing in Ranked matches this week, relative to previous weeks. Similarly to the lack of change in the classes leaderboard, the archetype statistics has also seen little change. For example, the top 8 archetypes were in the exact same order of popularity since the last week, with small changes in win percentages of individual deck types. Two archetypes are noteworthy this week: Aggro Forestcraft and Arcus Shadowcraft. Aggro Forestcraft has continuously produced high win rates, but its overall win rate has never been this high before. Arcus Shadowcraft is also having its moment, with its win percentage hitting over 50% for the first time this season.

|Vs. Aggro Swordcraft||72.9%|
|Vs. Mysteria Runecraft||69.4%|
Matchup data involving Puppet Portalcraft has been consistent over the past few weeks; the deck performing outstandingly well against majority of decks in the meta. The same two decks, Tenko and Abyss Summoner, seems to give Puppets a slightly hard time, although recent tournament matchups involving these decks seem to suggest that this matchup is much closer to ‘even’ at the highest level of play.
|Opponent Archetype||G. Chimera Win %||Abyss Win %||Mysteria Win %|
|Vs. Puppet Portalcraft||46.6%||51.9%||30.6%|

|Vs. Aggro Swordcraft||29.7%||33.3%||44.4%|
|Vs. Mysteria Runecraft||73.1%||50.0%||N/A|
Runecraft is still a very popular class, with three representative decks roaming in the meta. The matchup data for all three builds have not changed much since last week’s report. Mysteria Runecraft is still struggling to find consistency, as there are still not enough powerful cards with the ‘Mysteria’ keyword. Abyss Summoner Runecraft has many poor matchups, but it will always see some play due to its slightly favored matchup numbers against Puppet Portalcraft.
|Opponent Archetype||Aggro Win %||Midrange Win %|
|Vs. Puppet Portalcraft||49.8%||44.2%|
|Vs. G. Chimera Runecraft||65.2%||54.1%|
|Vs. Ramp Dragoncraft||57.3%||56.7%|
|Vs. Aggro Forestcraft||N/A||42.9%|
|Vs. Tenko Havencraft||61.1%||48.2%|
|Vs. Arcus Shadowcraft||62.5%||40.0%|
|Vs. Midrange Swordcraft||62.7%||60.9%|

|Vs. Mysteria Runecraft||75.0%||55.6%|
The Rotation meta has been stable for some time now, and it is difficult to find exciting news or statistics in such a meta. In such an environment, Forestcraft, specifically Aggro Forestcraft, has taken the spotlight this week, reaching its all new record in win percentage! With an overall win percentage approaching 60%, there is no doubt that Aggro Forestcraft is in contention for the best deck this season along with Puppet Portalcraft.
